✿ Desa Cattle Dairy Farm ✿

5 March 2015

The last day of our CNY holiday, we went down to this Desa Cattle Dairy Farm at Kundasang before going back home to Lahad Datu. I love Ranau for its cool & chilly weather, Its a fantastic view here as if we are in New Zealand. Desa Cattle Dairy Farm is located at the foothills of Mount Kinabalu in Kundasang & took only around 15 minutes from Kinabalu Pine Resort.

 Nice scenery to have photographing.

The weather was cold & it was full of mist, we didn't see the Mount Kinabalu clearly.

Too bad we went there on a Saturday, no cow milking on that day.huhu..

I don't think there is another place in Malaysia which has a similar dairy farm like this, it's one of a kind.

We bought this nice ice cream made with fresh milk from Desa Cattle Dairy Farm. They sell chocolate, vanilla, & other flavour. Very nice eating ice cream in cold weather.

fuhh..long queue to buy ice-cream & milk! If you can, visit it early in the morning coz the place can be very crowded during afternoon

Friesian cows grazing freely in a meadow at the foothills of the ever so majestic Mount Kinabalu really seems like a view that is not what we expect to find in Tropical Malaysia. In fact its a view we would expect to see in Europe. its amazing!

If you have reached Kundasang, it is a worthy place to visit. Once you reach the place, you will feel like you're transported to another country, with lots of green, white wooden fences & view of mountain but unfortunately when we were there it was surrounded by the mist.

There's also a souvenir shop for your tourist dose of apparels, key chain, magnet & ice cream (plain / chocolate). Make a stop! breathe in the fresh air, drink some chocolate milk & take plenty of photos like we did..hehe!

Btw, entrance fee is around RM4 per person.. worth paying a little for a magnificent view.
